Grassroots muži advokáti rovnosti žen a mužů

Anotace:

Česká společnost neřeší problém přetrvávající nerovnosti žen a mužů. Jednou z důležitých příčin problému jsou postoje většiny mužů, kteří zastávají důležité rozhodovací funkce. Grassroots způsobem se zaměříme na vzorek mužů-politiků z komunální úrovně, dvaceti mužům pomůžeme problém nazřít a vlastní postoje reflektovat. Využijeme k tomu inovativní formu diskusních setkání a vytvoření vlastní inscenace dokumentárního divadla. Ve čtyřech obcích se to projeví konkrétními změnami.

Donor:

Projekt podpořila Nadace OSF v rámci programu Active Citizens Fund, jehož cílem je podpora občanské společnosti a posílení kapacit neziskových organizací. Cílem programu je dále inspirace k aktivnímu občanství a pomoc znevýhodněným skupinám. Program Active Citizens Fund vstoupil do České republiky v září roku 2019 s cílem podpořit neziskové organizace nehledě na jejich velikost a zkušenosti.
V České republice jej spravuje konsorcium, které tvoří Nadace OSF, Výbor dobré vůle – Nadace Olgy Havlové a Skautský institut. Program je realizován v rámci Fondů EHP a Norska 2014–2021. Prostřednictvím Fondů EHP a Norska přispívají státy Island, Lichtenštejnsko a Norsko ke snižování ekonomických a sociálních rozdílů v Evropském hospodářském prostoru (EHP) a k posilování spolupráce s 15 evropskými státy. Důležitým posláním programu je také spolupráce mezi Českou republikou a dárcovskými státy. Jde o spolupráci mezi českými neziskovými organizacemi a organizacemi z Islandu, Lichtenštejnska a Norska.

Grassroots male advocates for gender equality

Annotation:

Czech society does not solve the problem of persistent inequality between women and men. One of the important causes of the problem is the attitudes of most men, who hold important decision-making positions. In a grassroots way, we will focus on a sample of men-politicians from the communal level, we will help twenty men to see the problem and reflect on their own attitudes. We will use an innovative form of discussion meetings and create our own
production of documentary theater. In four municipalities, this will be reflected in concrete changes. We will use the experience in an advocacy campaign aimed at deputies and senators. We will get ten new equality ambassadors.

We present a plan to make 20 men of the villages more sensitive and active, which is an example of the release of the first stone in the dam. An unjust system only works if everyone respects and maintains it. In addition, we will make specific changes in the municipalities. This in itself is a significant change with a strong inspiration potential that we will use in the advocacy campaign aimed at national policies, we will get 10 men, ambassadors, who will be equality lawyers at the highest level in the future.

The project was supported by the OSF Foundation as part of the Active Citizens Fund program, which aims to support civil society and strengthen the capacities of non-profit organizations. The aim of the program is to inspire active citizenship and help disadvantaged groups. The Active Citizens Fund program entered the Czech Republic in September 2019 with the aim of supporting non-profit organizations regardless of their size and experience.
In the Czech Republic, it is managed by a consortium consisting of the OSF Foundation, the Goodwill Committee – the Olga Havlova Foundation and the Scout Institute. The program is implemented within the EEA and Norway Funds 2014–2021.

Through the EEA and Norway Funds, the states of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway contribute to reducing economic and social differences in the European Economic Area (EEA) and to strengthening cooperation with 15 European states. Cooperation between the Czech Republic and donor states is also an important mission of the program. It is a collaboration between Czech non-profit organizations and organizations from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
